Things to do in Frankenmuth, Michigan

During your stay at The Webster House, you're mere miles from the top tourist destination in the state - Frankenmuth: Michigan's Little Bavaria. The city is home to Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland, the world's largest Christmas store.

Make a trip to Frankenmuth an all-day affair with one of the world-famous, family-style chicken dinners at Zehnder's or the Bavarian Inn Restaurant, and then a trip to one of the city's unique museums. Learn all about Little Bavaria at the Frankenmuth Historical Museum, which features a permanent collection of Frankenmuth and German-related artifacts. Michigan's Own Military & Space Museum features a collection of military and space memorabilia.

Frankenmuth offers a shopping experience like no other, with diverse offerings that include the Frankenmuth Cheese Haus, the Frankenmuth Clock Company and many more.

Frankenmuth's festivals are as plentiful as the chicken. A celebration of some sort is happening nearly weekly all year-round in the city. Annual festivals include Zehnder's Snowfest, the World Expo of Beer, the Bavarian Festival and Oktoberfest. Be sure to get a different view of the city from the Cass River, with a paddleboat tour aboard the Bavarian Belle.
