It has always been our priority to provide a comfortable, clean, and safe environment for our guests, and never more so than today. We know that guests chose The Historic Webster House because it is a small intimate, owner-operated property with a limited number of guests. After reopening in June 2020, we have kept the best of our former practices and instituting changes to make The Historic Webster House experience as safe as possible for our guests, our staff, and ourselves. We monitor executive orders, CDC and local guidelines, and the advice of experts as we are members of the national and state innkeepers’ associations to help us do our best to ensure a safe, comfortable experience for everyone.
We now offer Contact Free check-in and check out. We have developed videos that are included in your confirmation and reminder emails with complete instructions for the process. Our innkeeper in the video will walk you through the inn, give keycode information for entry, and walk you to your room explaining all the features of the room as well as after-hours texting contact, WIFI directions, and all that is needed to have an enjoyable experience. We are only a phone call or text away and we can mask up and meet you in person by prior arrangement if that makes you more comfortable. Check out is just as easy.
Simplified rooms and common areas. You will see changes in rooms from what you see on the website. Pristine triple-sheeted beds replace heavy comforters and throw pillows. Our Breakfast room is arranged to be socially distant as well as our Dining room. We offer breakfast in bed if you feel more comfortable. What has not changed is the attention to detail and care that our guests expect.
We have upped our already high standards for cleaning. We clean and disinfect high-touch areas in the common areas throughout the day for the protection of us all. Guests will find hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes throughout the inn and in their rooms. We will not be entering your rooms for refreshes as we have in the past, we are sorry. We will provide fresh towels and other toiletries if you need them in a basket outside your room.
Cancellation Policy: We will gladly issue a credit or gift certificate good for 5 years if in the event you must cancel because of COVID restrictions or complications. We all have known about this virus since March 2020 and that is the risk that is taken when reserving during these trying times, sorry we are not offering refunds.
