We are proud to have among our guests on Veterans Day two military personnel whom we're welcoming for free as part of a Veterans Day program that honors veterans with free or discounted rooms at bed and breakfast establishments worldwide.

"We're even planning to serve them red, white and blue star-shaped French toast the next morning," innkeeper Gail Partee said of our special guests, one who is active in the military and one retired.

A segment airing at 9 a.m. Nov. 10 on WNEM TV-5's "Better Mid-Michigan" program features our participation in the program.
